Create an objective

Objectives are the quarterly goals that anchor everything else in IdealWeek. You can create one from any main screen — the QuickPlus dial puts the editor a single tap away.
From the QuickPlus dial
- Tap the + at the centre of the bottom navigation bar.

outcome — "Launch SaaS product MVP and acquire first 100 users", not "Do
product stuff".

the first thing you'll see when you open the objective later.
Description field filled in below the title - Tap the check mark in the top-right to save. The objective appears at
the bottom of the home screen list — drag it up if it should sit higher.

When you have no objectives yet, the home screen shows a "Get started" call to action in place of the list. Tapping it opens the same editor as step 3 above. The fields, save behaviour, and outcome are identical — the only difference is where you started from.
Tips
- You can also dictate the title and description with the microphone button in the title field. See Dictate an idea with voice for the same pattern applied to ideas.
- A category and a deadline are optional at creation time. You can add both later from the same screen.
