Schedule an activity
Updated May 20261 min read

An activity is a planned slice of time spent on a key result or an adhoc focus block. The Timeline screen shows the week's activities side-by-side; this article covers the three ways to add one.
From the QuickPlus dial
- Tap the + at the centre of the bottom navigation.
- Pick Activity. The activity editor opens with today's date and a
one-hour suggested slot.
QuickPlus dial with Activity highlighted - Set the title, link a key result, and pick a time range. Save to
place the activity on the timeline.
Activity editor with fields filled
From the Timeline screen
- Tap the calendar tab in the bottom navigation.
- Tap an empty time slot in the day column. The same activity editor
opens with the slot's start time pre-selected.

From the objective editor
While editing an objective, scroll to the Activities section and tap Add activity. The new activity is staged with the parent objective selected.
Tips
- Adhoc activities (not linked to a key result) are valid — use them for meetings, study, or breaks you want to time.
- A scheduled activity becomes a notification reminder if you've enabled Scheduled Activity Notification in Settings. See Schedule activity reminders.
