Check in on objective progress
Updated May 20261 min read

A weekly check-in keeps your objectives honest. IdealWeek prompts you for a short reflection — what moved this week, what didn't — and rolls those answers into a consistency streak so you can see momentum at a glance.
From the consistency streak card
- Open the home screen. The consistency streak card sits near the top
of the objectives list, showing your current weekly streak.
Home screen with consistency streak card - Tap the streak card. A check-in dialog opens with a prompt for each
objective due this week.
Check-in dialog open - Answer the prompts and save. Your streak updates immediately and the next check-in lands the same time next week.
From the check-in reminder notification
If you've enabled the check-in reminder, you'll get a notification at the time you set in Settings → Notifications. Tap it to jump straight into the same check-in dialog above. See Set a check-in reminder to configure the reminder time.
Tips
- A check-in is a reflection, not a graded test. A short sentence per objective is enough.
- The streak resets if you skip a week. The Insights screen shows the longer trend regardless of breaks.
