Brainstorm and expand an idea
Updated May 20262 min read

The Brainstorm screen turns a single idea into a small mindmap. Each section — Outcomes, Challenges, Questions, Related — lets you list the next layer of thought. Items reorder by drag, and a tap on any one opens it for editing.
From an idea card
- Open the Ideas screen (sidebar → Ideas).
- Tap an idea card and choose View from the context menu.
Idea card context menu with View highlighted - The Brainstorm screen opens with the idea title at the centre and four
expansion sections fanned out around it.
Brainstorm screen with expansion sections - Tap a section header to reveal its items. Tap + to add a new
item, or tap an existing item to edit.
Outcomes expansion open with items - Long-press an item and drag to reorder. Drop to commit.
Tips
- Items have a single line of free-text — keep them short. If a thought needs more space, it usually wants to become its own idea.
- The Brainstorm screen is reachable from inside the Idea-to-OKR wizard too, so you can refine before promoting.
