Manage day availability
Updated May 20261 min read
Available Time tells IdealWeek which hours of each day are yours to plan inside. The Timeline screen colours those hours, and the activity editor suggests free slots inside them. Outside those hours your time is left blank — useful for sleep, family blocks, or off-days.
From settings
- Open Settings (sidebar → Settings).
- Tap Available Time under the Week calendar section.
Settings with Available Time highlighted - Pick a weekday tab. Each day has its own hours.
Available Time editor with Monday selected - Drag the start and end markers on the day's timeline to set the first and last available hour. Tap a break chip to remove it, or tap + to add a new break. Changes save as you adjust.
Tips
- Off-days (e.g. Sundays) can have an empty range. The Timeline shows them greyed out.
- The activity editor still lets you place activities outside available time when you need to — Available Time is a hint, not a hard cap.
